Private email.
Verifiable exchanges.

Email for people and businesses. Private messages encrypted on your device, and proof of what was acknowledged that anyone can verify.

The Maildomo inbox: a private, end-to-end encrypted proposal from Maya Santos is open beside four ordinary emails.

We don’t hold the keys to your private mail.

Encrypted on your device

Private messages and attachments are end-to-end encrypted before they leave your device. We don’t hold the keys to open them.

Checked before it opens

Every private message is checked against the sender’s key in a public key directory, and a message that fails the check is never shown.

Email still just works

Write to anyone, anywhere. Maildomo tells you plainly when a message travels as standard email, which mail services, including ours, can process in transit.

Private or email. Always clear.

Every message says how it will travel before you send it. Private stays between you and the people you choose; email reaches any address, and your recipients keep the inbox they already use.

How the two differ

Acknowledgments that hold up.

Coming to the private preview: ask for an acknowledgment, and the other person confirms the exact content with one touch of their passkey. Both of you keep a record that anyone with it can check, without asking us. Reading a message never acknowledges or signs anything.

What a record proves

Your inbox. Your company’s email.

Private correspondence for individuals, company addresses and teams for organizations, in one familiar experience. No wallet to connect, no separate app to visit.

Keep your company identity

Use your company’s addresses with clients, partners and colleagues.

Manage people, not their mail

Administering an account doesn’t by itself grant access to its private messages.

A few good questions.

Is every email end-to-end encrypted?

Private conversations protect message content and attachments with end-to-end encryption. Ordinary email to other providers uses standard email delivery and does not have that same protection. Maildomo makes the difference clear before you send.

Can I email someone who doesn’t use Maildomo?

Yes. Use standard email to reach any email address. Your recipient can read and reply from their usual inbox.

Can my organization use its own email addresses?

Yes. Organizations can keep their company email addresses and manage their teams. Managing an account does not automatically grant access to its private messages; access to private correspondence requires explicit authorization.

What can Maildomo see?

In a private conversation, your subject, message and attachments are encrypted. Maildomo still processes routing and operational information to run the service. Standard email passes through mail servers in readable form.

What does a verifiable record prove?

It provides evidence of a specific action, such as someone explicitly acknowledging a document or signing an agreement. You can keep and independently check that evidence. Delivery, reading, acknowledgment and signing are different actions; one does not stand in for another.

How does recovery work?

Your recovery kit helps you regain access if you lose a device. Store it somewhere safe. You can test it whenever you choose; testing is optional. Without a trusted device or your recovery material, your encrypted history may be impossible to recover.

Email for you. And your organization.

Maildomo is in private preview. Accounts are by invitation while we build it with our first users.
